How are percentages calculated?

Percentages are calculated by a few factors. ByteLearn grades students on their ability to understand the math and process rather than simply incorrect or correct.
Factors for the percentage calculation:
1. If a student does not make any mistakes (either in the direct imput or with the step by step help), then the student will achieve full credit for that question.
2. If a student makes an error during the direct input and/or the step by step help, a percentage will be deducted from that question.
3. If the student uses the "Can you give me a hint button, a percentage will be deducted from that question.
