When you are ready to add your students to the ByteLearn teacher dashboard. Click on the white "Create new class" button in middle of the page on the right side.

From here, you have two options:

1. Download your student roster from your school Google Classroom

2. Create a clickable class code link to share with your students on your LMS system.

Lets explore each method below.

Google Classroom:
Once you click on the "Connect via Google Classroom" button, you will be prompted to log into your school google email account.

Make sure you check all the boxes to allow ByteLearn to access your student roster.

* Please note, we do not post anything to your google classroom, this just allows ByteLearn to pull  your roster from your Google Classroom and upload them into ByteLearn.

At this point, you will be brought back to your teacher dashboard and you can start creating your first assignment. You will get a message once all of your classes have been fully loaded into your ByteLearn teacher account.

2. Create a clickable class code link to share with your students on your LMS system.
Once you click on the "Use class code or sharable link" you will be prompted to create your class name. You will need to do this for each class you would like to use ByteLearn.

After naming your class, you will next come to a screen where you have two options:

1. Click the blue "copy" button to copy the given code for your students. You can paste this code into your LMS system or email the code to your students.

2. Have your students go to https://www.bytelearn.com/join and enter the code given. They will be prompted to enter your class and then they will be in!

When you hit continue, you will be asked if you would like to invite a co-teacher to your account. If you do not want to do this right away, no worries! You can always add them later on in the "People" tab on your teacher dashboard. See how here.

When you are ready, click on the blue tab to go to your class.
